COVID-19

As of May 14, 2020, The BC Dental Association (BCDA) has allowed the gradual reopening of businesses including dental offices. We follow the BCDA and have created policies that follow their guidelines.

The College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia (CDSBC) has also provided patients with answers to many questions you may have.

On May 27, 2020 Sun Dentistry reopened.  Our goal is to provide treatment for patients safely. Doing so, we have made some changes to ensure you can keep your teeth healthy during the pandemic.

Thank you for your continued support!

Patient Screening

When making an appointment through the phone or by email, it is required by the BCDA that a screening process takes place before and when you arrive to our clinic.  We have created a short COVID-19 screening process to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

Staff Screening

To ensure your safety during your visit, we have also implemented a staff COVID-19 screening.  All of our staff are screened prior to coming to work for any symptoms related to COVID-19.

Social Distancing & Cleaning

During your visit at Sun Dentistry, we are taking precautions to reduce possible coronavirus transmission through maintaining social distancing. We ask patients keep a 2m distance between each other.

It is also helpful to wear a mask before and after your dental care. If you don't own a mask, let our staff know and we will do our best to accommodate.

Be assured that we are taking measures to clean our equipment thoroughly between patients.

We also are committed to wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as well as disposing them between patients.
